Windy and much colder conditions can be expected on Sunday as cold arctic
air continues to filter into the region from the North.
Temperatures will hold nearly steady in the middle to upper 30s during much of the daytime hours on Sunday, with Wind Chill values averaging the middle teens to middle 20s. Northerly winds will frequently gust in the 25-30 mph range throughout the period as well.
Periods of drizzle and/or light rain may mix at times with sleet anytime during the daytime hours on Sunday. At this time no significant sleet accumulation is expected across the local area. The potential for some ice and/or sleet accumulation will increase as you move further West of the local region, further out into the Hill Country.
The precipitation will end from West to East across the area by 5-6pm on Sunday.
We will continue monitoring the situation and issue updates as conditions warrant.
